Comprehensive interior design and renovation of an apartment in downtown Szczecin

MS Apartment | A compact apartment designed for a single occupant, located near Szczecin’s Old Town. The apartment’s original layout was not ideal for the new owner, so functional changes were made during the first phase of the project. Demolishing some walls in the living area and within the bedroom allowed for a reorganization of the layout so that the living area would no longer serve as a thoroughfare, and the private zone would be discreetly separated.

Visual elements that organize the space played a significant role in shaping the interior. The use of wooden, smoked wall paneling—into which doors leading to individual rooms were integrated—allowed the functional divisions to be concealed and gave the interior a cohesive character. The dark finishes in the kitchen and bathroom introduce contrast and emphasize the distinctive character of these spaces.

The custom-made furniture, crafted from veneer and featuring original handles designed specifically for this project, has been tailored to the layout of the apartment. The centerpiece of the living area is a comfortable leather sofa by Baxter, which serves as a gathering place and a spot to relax.

The bathroom was designed to be both comfortable and functional. The spacious double shower, Vola fixtures, and the use of natural stone give the interior a distinctive character. An unusual light fixture by Delta Light serves as an additional design element and enhances the atmosphere of the space.
